A property asset management and development company is looking for a Financial
Controller to join their team working
in-office in
Cape Town.


As the
Financial Controller, you will encompass monthly accounting and MDA property manager responsibilities, creditors and debtors functions, tenant assistance, lease agreement processing on MDA, and support with FICA and ITC checks for tenants.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain monthly accounting records using MDA property manager software.
  • Manage creditors function, including invoice collection, approvals, and data capturing for specific properties.
  • Oversee debtors function, handling monthly billing, utility and ad hoc recoveries, tenant queries, and debtor collection for designated properties.
  • Provide assistance to tenants and debtors, addressing queries and facilitating reconciliations on accounts.
  • Ensure accurate loading of lease agreements on MDA.
  • Assist in conducting FICA and ITC checks for tenants.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Accounting / BCom Accounting / BTech degree is essential.
  • An honours degree is highly desirable.
years of total experience.

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in both
    English and Afrikaans.

Salary and other benefits:


  • R R22 000 / month CTC.
