Description

We represent an importer, and supplier, of automotive and industrial parts, and they are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper. The company is based in Kempton Park, Gauteng. The role calls for a loyal, and experienced individual, who has a strong work ethic. It is a transactional role, and extremely hands-on.

Roles and responsibilities

Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records, including accounts payable, bank, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Monitor expenses, reconcile GL accounts.
Perform Accounts Payable; Fixed Assets; Bank; GL Recons.

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

Relevant Finance qualification eg, degree, bookkeeping diploma.
Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting in a products type environment, preferably including imports.
Proficient in accounting software, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Business Central)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
