Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Lodge Anchor to join our client's team at an established Safari Lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.

The Lodge Anchor will be responsible for the core function of the lodge anchor is to host the guest and manage all aspects of their stay to maximize guest delight.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge
  • Managing, Overseeing Staff with the General Manager
  • Staff training and development
  • Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
  • Hosting Duties
  • Allocation of Airport Transfers
  • Little paws program
  • Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
  • Reporting to General manager, Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office

Financial:


  • Stock control and stock takes
  • Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures

Rooms Division:


  • Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD and
  • General Manager
  • Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically
  • Food and Beverage and Kitchen
  • Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard
  • Assist with Events planning and execution
  • Assist with menu planning and cost control

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • The core function of the lodge anchor is to host the guest and manage all aspects of their stay to maximize guest delight

Valid RSA Driver's License:

-
Grade 12:


  • Exceptional Guest Relations skills
  • Ability to manage staff
  • Understanding and ability to manage the different departments
  • Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
  • Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control

Experience:

-
Minimum 4 years' experience in a Big 5 reserve and 4-star lodge necessary:


  • ResRequest experience will be beneficial

Package:


  • Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references
  • Accommodation
  • Meals while on duty
  • 21 days on 7 days off work cycle
