    Description

    Hire Resolve is currently working with a reputable manufacturing company who is looking for a dedicated and resourceful Junior Buyer to join their team. With a strong focus on quality and innovation, our client has established themselves as a leader in the manufacturing industry.

    As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring materials and components required for production, ensuring that the supply chain is optimized and cost-effective. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for the manufacturing industry and wants to contribute to the success of a well-respected company.

    Responsibilities

    • Source and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost considerations
    • Negotiate and secure favorable prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers/vendors
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure continuous production flow
    • Collaborate with production teams to understand and fulfill material requirements
    • Manage the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
    • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers/vendors in a timely manner
    • Stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement or buying within the manufacturing industry
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
