The Role:
The primary role is toassist customers in the store check-out process while efficiently managing customer queries and complaints. Excellent customer service delivery, accuracy and integrity are essential. Computer knowledge and maintaining good housekeeping standards are necessary.
The incumbent is responsible for processing transactions and handling cash accurately and safely. A strong work ethic displaying responsibility and being attentive to customer needs are essential components for this role.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Representative
- Welcome and assist customers with queries, provide recommendations
- Maintain a positive, polite and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Respond promptly to customer queries
- Ensure a sound knowledge of store products
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
- Reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by Management
- Ring up sales
- Bag items
- Request price checks
- Collect payment
- Ensure prices and quantities are accurate
- Respond to complaints
- Process refunds or exchanges
- Provide helpful information to customers
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Balance the days' takings
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by Management
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent
- Experience in a retail environment, advantageous
- Customer service experience
- Cashier experience
- Basic math knowledge
- Computer skills

Salary:
R6,000.00 per month
