R R20 000 per month

Faerie Glen, Pretoria
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Non-structured weekend work
The Employer:
The Role:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff
- Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability
- Hire, train and oversee new staff
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and arrange promotional material and instore displays
- Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements and profits
- Undertake store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records
- Monitor inventory levels and order new items
- Develop and maintain a schedule for promotions centered on special holidays
- Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals
- Implement crosstraining of employees and Assistant Managers to maintain productivity at all times
- Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions
- Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability
- Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times
- Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by Management
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
- Customer serviceoriented with indepth knowledge of basic business management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:
R15, R20,000.00 per month
