WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The

Quality Assurance Representative:
Supply

will maintain the Procurement Quality Management System that shall continually support management, core and supporting processes from industrialization and product realization for the duration of the product life cycle, in order to achieve zero tolerance on quality defects.


KEY PERFORMAMNCE AREAS

  • Supplier evaluation and audit against established product base line requirements.
  • Audits on Supplier processes, document system assessments using ISO 9000 and 14000 respectively, as a guideline and maintain Quality Management Information Systems.
  • Verification of the inspection activities/plans at suppliers to ensure that the purchased product will meet the specified purchase requirements.
  • Support Project realization by component qualification in line with Sales Plan commitments.
  • Negotiate, oversea and finalize supplier statistical qualification reports or product assessments.
  • Ensure that the established processes have the ability to produce product in accordance with RDM requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement by means of performance monitoring, formal corrective action, process improvement plans and increased control at suppliers to facilitate reduced RDM incoming inspections.
  • Lead defect investigations of component nonconformances identified and provide management progress reports. Drive process to a comprehensive conclusion.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Degree in Materials Science /Mechanical / Process Engineering or equivalent
  • Alternatively: Trade Certificate with Diploma in Mechanical / Process Engineering.
  • 5 years' experience in a mechanical manufacturing industry.
  • 2 years' experience in a mechanical inspection environment will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability in the interpretation of geometric tolerance and engineering drawing requirements.
  • Exposure and understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality Management standards is required.
  • Exposure to the ISO 14000 standard is required.
  • Experience with hardness test machines will add an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel)
