Purpose of Job

Responsibilities

SALES & PROFITS

  • Drive training & development initiatives that enable operations to deliver quality products & excellent service through capable people in order to achieve budgeted sales growth
  • Drive margin optimization by managing gap in order to deliver budgeted net profit

BENCH READINESS

  • AC Bench
  • RGM Bench
  • ARM Bench
  • SS Bench

TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain an internal promotion rate of 80%
  • Quarterly assessment & mapping of talent
  • Talent Map updated, relevant & accurate at all times
  • Ensures a clear IDP & Career Path for key talent
  • Key talent is retained and engaged in their career journey

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Ensure that all new appointees are trained successfully
  • Induction Training completed within 14 days
  • Conduct Training Audits with Skills Trainers in store on a monthly basis
  • Audit training files to ensure that all training records and basic policies are up to date
  • Design and Develop training material aligned to business needs
  • Designing of new training content for any special projects that are launched (i.e. Device usage, cashier training, digital routines)

ADMINISTRATION

  • Effective administration of The Vault & GEM data
  • Users added, removed and maternity leave updated within 24 hours. Courses assigned accordingly.
  • Ensure all training content is updated and new material is developed when required
  • Existing content updated and new material signed off

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

  • Daily ROCC visits to be conducted in store before store is due a ROCC audit
  • Prep visits conducted during peak periods from Friday to Saturday
  • Prep visit sheet to be completed and shared on training group

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • KFC Experience
  • At least 5 years in a National Training Capacity in the Catering/Restaurant/QSR/Retail Space
  • Own reliable transport
  • Passion for Training
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
