Intermediate Life Support Medic - Newcastle, South Africa - HR Genie
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the patients/staff within the scope of practice of an ILS
Provide emergency medical assistance as and when required
Provide high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of those in need
Render the appropriate medical care to injured personnel/staff/visitors to the site
Provide quality assurance to the BAA
To take proper care and proper handling of all medical resources
Stay current with the latest medical practices and maintain a commitment to professional development
Perform any other duty required by the client
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric (mandatory)
Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Intermediate Life Support
Paramedic
Minimum 4 years experience
Possession of a valid driver's license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Skilled response and reaction ambulance driving
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication Skills (English)
Ability to perform in accordance with extensive Physical demands of the Site (P.T.)
Good reporting skills, written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a team
Physically Fit and good health
Excellent customer relations skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Be able to work shifts
