Requirements:

A minimum of a 3-year degree coupled with at least 4 years' relevant experience. An Honours degree will be an added advantage


Duties


To facilitate the identification and protection of intellectual property and the process of compliance to National Intellectual Property Management Office requirements.

Participate in disclosure meetings.

Maintain the Intellectual Property portfolio; this includes maintenance of a database of ideas, disclosures and patents.

Assist with administration of the Seed Funding and maintain Funding projects databases including progress tracking and quarterly summaries.

Co-ordinate Intellectual Property &Technology Transfer related awareness activities with Univen.

Provide support for National Intellectual Property Management Office and Intellectual Property Rights Act compliance requirements
