Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a 3year tertiary qualification Information Technology or other relevant qualifications from industry recognised institute (A+, N+, MCSA, MCSE or similar)
Minimum 2 years experience as a Desktop Support Technician, Network Support Technician, Systems Administrator, or similar is essential
Experience working with, configuring, and troubleshooting computer networks (TCP IP configuration, subnets, DNS, etc.) will be required
Must be able to resolve enduser problems and working with an incident management system (e.g. Spiceworks, Remedy, or similar).
Must be able to effectively manage relationships with thirdparty providers and prioritise high severity incidents
Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Server Management, and network security would be preferred
Experience in testing software and raising bugs, and monitoring and securing networks will be an added advantage
Providing technical support across the company, including remotely using Team Viewer, telephone, or Microsoft Teams.
Managing incidents raised by end users and ensuring all requests are logged, monitored, and tracked using the incident management system.
Resolving hardware, software (including inhouse), and network problems by working with end users, other technical personnel, and external service providers.
Installing, maintaining, optimising, and configuring software, including Windows operating systems and settings.
Contributing to continuous improvement of processes, systems, knowledge base, and thirdparty relationships.
Ensuring best practices are followed and that all software is safe and appropriately licensed.
Ensuring security and privacy of computers and network systems.
Monitoring networks and hardware for unauthorized use.
Providing regular feedback to clients regarding service request status.
Documenting common problems on documentation solution.
