Reporting to the Operations Manager day-to-day, and the Human Resources Manager functionally, you will be encouraged to maximize your potential being equipped with adequate resources, technology, and time to accomplish your goals.

Core Outcomes

  • Administration_
  • Prepare and process approved employee personal information like contracts, work permits, job changes, new employees, transfers, wage changes, leave requests etc. for payroll
  • Administer new and existing employees statutory and company benefits
  • Develop, maintain, and implement training matrixes which include key competencies, role requirements and skill development requirements
  • Arrange and capture of sitebased induction, HR / IR / Training stats onto system
  • Ensure termination of employment documentation is completed and submitted for payroll purposes
  • Complete weekly and monthly HR report and assist with the compilation of management / statistical reports when required
  • Coordinate periodic HR projects as allocated by the HR Manager from timetotime
  • Payroll administration_
  • Administrates payroll function (all administration, filing, capturing, reports).
  • Log company assets in the employee's possession, including petrol cards, laptops, credit cards, cell phones, co
- vehicles, with registration number, VIN no for records

  • Assist staff with resolving leave queries, pay queries, and other queries
  • Recruitment and Selection_
  • Ensure that all CV's received from external sources are filed and a database is created
  • Receives internal / external job postings, arranges interviews, and attends when required
  • Ensures all the relevant information is obtained and documentation completed by new employees
  • Industrial Relations, Transformation and Organizational Development_
  • Provide administration support for all transformation and workplace forums
  • Provide employment equity (EE) report statistics to the HR Manager monthly
  • Attends industrial relations meetings in relation to payroll and HR administration
  • Maintains records and files copies of grievances / disciplinary hearings
  • Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) and Housekeeping_
  • Arrange entry and exit medicals for employees in conjunction with the Safety Department
  • Process and follow up of COID claims in conjunction with the Safety Department (This form should be sent the compensation commissioner and logged onto a database and maintained on the Q drive)
  • Comply with SHEQ Standards of the employer and customer

Key Functional Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate, HR Diploma preferrable
  • A minimum of 3 years HR experience in a similar operation environment
  • Knowledge of Payroll
  • Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans
  • Experience in using Microsoft Teams
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

Salary:
R22,000.00 per month
