Our client is seeking an
Enrolled Nurse - Psychiatric to start immediately for a professional youth clinic based in
Simons Town to start immediately.

Focused on the international market, a young adult's clinic, assisting with various mental health issues. Seeking the best team players to be part of this organization to start immediately.

Duties include the following, but not limited to

Ordering and issuing of medication.
Accurate recording of all nursing related documentation daily.
Recording of all nursing interactions on an online based medical server.
Accompanying clients to doctors, dentist, blood services and any other services.
You will be expected to be able to connect clients online to doctors and social workers online via various platforms, Teams/Zoom.
Daily nursing tasks, including but not limited to, monitoring clients at mealtimes, monitoring clients with eating disorders, monitoring clients with suicidal and selfharm potential.
You will be expected to handle all admissions efficiently and professionally, ensuring new clients are made welcome, safe, and settled into their bedrooms with no delays.
You will be expected to take clients shopping on a Saturday morning and go with clients on various outings on a Sunday.
Undertake any other duties as delegated by the Nursing Manager

Requirements:

A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/B Cur Degree)
Registration with SANC
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Excellent English communication skills
Committed to clinical excellence.
Effective client care
Hours of work will be 12 hours per shift, day, and night shift.
Must have own transport.
Live in the Southern Peninsula area would be advantageous, if not own transport a must

Salary:
R19 000 CTC negotiable

Salary:
From R19 000,00 per month

Experience:

- nursing in a psychiatric environment: 5 years (required)
