***As the
Claims Administrator you will be responsible for effectively managing the claims process with service providers and to ensure that claims are processed and concluded timeously.


Responsibilities:


  • Liaising internally and with service providers to ensure resolutions to claims logged.
  • Providing necessary document and final decisions when claims are closed.
  • Managing claims queries.
  • Assessing and investigating of claims logged.
  • Recording of incident reports and recoveries.
  • Preparing related invoices.
  • Arranging claims meeting with management for approvals.
  • Processing credit checks.
  • Loading and updating customer information and documentation.
  • Related reporting and administration.

Requirements:


  • Matric and completed finance or claim related qualification

  • Experience in a logistics environment is essential.
  • FAIS accreditation is an advantage.
  • Experience on freight billing system.
