Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Degree/Diploma in a related field, such as marketing, business administration, communication or journalism
Skills
- Excellent command of the English language including written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical writing and editorial skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience in bid writing or proposal development
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into understandable text and graphics
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of operational environments (preferably in Facilities Management Services)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong presentation skills

Position Summary
- Responsible for creating and submitting persuasive compliant proposals and related documentation that win new business contracts for the company.
- The role involves collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to gather relevant information and create compelling responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), invitations to tender (ITTs), and other bid requests
Key Accountabilities/ Principle Responsibilities
- Analyse bid requests: Analyse bid requests to understand the client's requirements, scope of work, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate with various departments: Coordinate with various departments, such as sales, marketing, finance, HR, Quality, OHS and Operations, to gather relevant information and create a winning bid proposal.
- Write compelling proposals: Craft wellwritten, concise, and persuasive proposals that address the client's needs and demonstrate the company's capabilities and competitive advantages.
- Conduct research: Conduct research on the client's business, industry, and competition to provide a thorough understanding of the market and tailor the proposal to meet the client's specific needs.
- Meet deadlines: Manage multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks to ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with the bid request's requirements, such as formatting, structure, and content.
- Manage the bid process: Manage the bid process from start to finish, including coordinating with stakeholders, preparing and submitting the proposal, and following up with the client.
- Maintain a knowledge base: Maintain a knowledge base of previous bids, client feedback, and industry trends to improve future bid proposals
