Minimum Requirements
- NTC 2 Mechanical Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum of two years post apprentice experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Specification
- Performing scheduled maintenance on plant & equipment
- Attending to machine breakdowns
- Installation of new plant & Equipment
- Ensuring that plant & equipment conforms to legislative requirements including the OHSACT
- Training and mentoring unskilled artisans
Specific Experience required
- Proven Experience in a manufacturing environment on:
- Conveyors
- Gearboxes
- Variable Speed Drives
- PLC's and electrical sensors
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Lubricating Systems
Specific Skills Required:
- Welding argon ARC/Co
- Diagnostic skills
- Able to read schematic drawings
- Ability to plan work load
Attitude/Behaviour:
- Commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure
- Prepared to work overtime and perform standby duties
- Able to work in a team.
Salary:
From R37,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kliprivier, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Certificate (preferred)
