Description

Responsibilities:


  • Promote and sell Merensky's products
  • Promote sales, manage customer relations and develop new business
  • Report on market activity and customer status

Qualification and Experience:


  • Matric and a related qualification in sales / marketing
  • At least five years experience in the timber industry in a sales or management role
  • Valid unendorsed drivers license(compulsory)
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret business communications

Knowledge:


  • In depth knowledge of the Timber industry and related products
  • Personal selling techniques
  • Customer and market demands/trends
  • Customer relationship management
  • Basic understanding of supply & demand dynamics
  • Business Acumen

Skills:


  • Advanced levels of computer literacy in complete MS Office suite
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent telephone and communication etiquette
  • Influencing and persuasive skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Tenacity
  • Knowledge of the ERP System (D365)
