Customer Relations Manager - Durban, South Africa - Merensky Timber
Description
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Merensky's products
- Promote sales, manage customer relations and develop new business
- Report on market activity and customer status
Qualification and Experience:
- Matric and a related qualification in sales / marketing
- At least five years experience in the timber industry in a sales or management role
- Valid unendorsed drivers license(compulsory)
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret business communications
Knowledge:
- In depth knowledge of the Timber industry and related products
- Personal selling techniques
- Customer and market demands/trends
- Customer relationship management
- Basic understanding of supply & demand dynamics
- Business Acumen
Skills:
- Advanced levels of computer literacy in complete MS Office suite
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Excellent telephone and communication etiquette
- Influencing and persuasive skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Tenacity
- Knowledge of the ERP System (D365)
Attitude/Behaviour:
- Willingness to travel extensively
