Food and Beverage Operations
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience for guests, including menu development, service standards, and presentation.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and catering services, ensuring the highest level of quality and service.
Monitor food and beverage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels while minimising waste.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets for the food and beverage department, ensuring profitability and cost control measures are in place.
Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Implement pricing strategies and promotional offers to drive sales and increase profitability.
Staff Management and Training
Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Set performance goals and expectations, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure staff members are meeting or exceeding performance standards.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
Quality Control and Compliance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Conduct regular inspections of dining and beverage facilities to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to quality standards.
Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed guest expectations.
Strategic Planning and Development

Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies and goals for the food and beverage department, aligning with the overall objectives of the wine farm.

Identify opportunities for expansion and growth within the food and beverage offerings, as well as potential partnerships or collaborations with local vendors or events.


Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, in the hospitality industry.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Knowledge of wine and the local culinary scene is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Own transport.
