Job Title: IT TECHNICIAN - ROODEPOORT - GAUTENG

To provide assistance with all technology related equipment and services to all users within the group


Duties:


  • End user support.
  • Assisting with users general IT requests.
  • To assist all our users with any IT related incidents when called upon.
  • To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible.
  • Escalating incidents to other support individuals where necessary.
  • To install and configure new software and IT equipment.
  • To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.
  • To resolve incidents with printers, copiers and scanners.
  • Mantain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical colleagues at all levels in the organization.

Requirements:


  • A+.
  • 2 years of experience in a windows desktop environment.
  • Networking experience.
