Job Title: MEDICAL OFFICER - EAST LONDON - EASTERN CAPE


The main purpose of the position is to implement clinical trials and render efficient and effective clinical care to volunteers/participants on research studies and clients at our client's research site in East London.

The duration of this position may be extended based on awarding of new grants and clinical trials.


Minimum Requirements:


  • MBChB and HPCSA registration as a medical practitioner (independent practice)
  • 3 or more years' work experience in the clinical research environment
  • Proven experience as a Principal Investigator/Investigator of Record for at least 1 clinical trial that were successfully started and fully enrolled
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge
  • Valid Code 08 Drivers License
  • Excellent ability to build interpersonal relationships
  • Strong client focus
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Detail oriented and capable of completing study documentation legibly and accurately
  • Able to perform clinical admin tasks which forms a significant part of the job
  • Willing to work flexible hours and weekends if required

Advantageous:


  • Valid Code 08 Drivers License
  • Valid ACLS certificate
