We're looking for a Blockman to join us As a Blockman, you'll handle meat preparation, packaging, and making sure our displays look great. Your job involves managing supplies, checking meat quality, and keeping things clean and safe. Your friendliness with customers, meat knowledge, and eye for detail will be a big part of what makes our team great.

What you'll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

• Cut, grind, and prepare various meats for sale
• Perform specialist meat preparations like kosher or halal cuts
• Package, weigh, label, and price meat products appropriately
• Prepare meat products such as sausages or hams
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for cutting and processing meat
• Ensure attractive and accurate displays and signage of meat products
• Keep records of inventory, budgets, and sales
• Manage stock levels and negotiate orders with suppliers
• Conduct quality inspections on meat and other products
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to lift and handle meat for storage
• Select meat from wholesalers or abattoirs for retail
• Custom-cut meat according to specific customer requests
