Job Advert:

The Accounts Clerk is part of the Finance Department, this role will be responsible to perform administrative duties for Support and Accounting Services which includes but are not limited to Company Cell phones and Credit cards

Reporting to the Supervisor:
Support & Accounting Services, this role will be based at our Support Centre in Kuils River.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Grade 12 (Accountancy and / or Mathematics)
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Certificate / Diploma / Degree), preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

2 3 Years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience
Retail finance experience, preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Intermediate to advanced MS Excel

Excellent communication
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage large volumes of work
Ability to multi task
Time management

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Strong administration knowledge and ability

Key Responsibilities:

Company Cell phones

Administration of the daytoday Company Cell phone function
Liaising with Company Cell phone service provider
Prepare monthly Cell phone schedule and capture monthly expense journal
Reconcile Cell phone suspense accounts

Company Credit Cards

Administration of the daytoday Company Credit Card function
Liaising with Company Credit Card service provider
Prepare monthly Credit Card schedule and capture monthly expense journal
Reconcile Credit Card suspense accounts

Filing and General Administration

Filing of financial information and documentation in line with statutory and legal requirements
Assist with document storage arrangements (onsite documentation storage
