Reporting to the Marketing Manager:

Business Innovation & Commercial, this role will be responsible to support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialists within the team to ensure that all administrative tasks related to the marketing process is executed, including post campaign analysis, competitor tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:


Essential:
National Diploma in Marketing / Advertising


Preferred:
A Degree in Marketing or similar


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


KNOWLEDGE required:


  • A working knowledge of the media terminology and understanding thereof
  • Knowledge in advertising / marketing platforms (ATL, digital and social)
  • An understanding of the commercial retail process

SKILLS required:


  • Skilled in Microsoft MS 36
  • Excellent people skills, relationship building and networking ability
  • The ability to analyse marketing conditions, competitor data
  • Problem solving ability
  • Planning, organising and time management skills
  • Good judgment together with a sound decisionmaking ability
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding, facilitation, networking and communication skills

EXPERIENCE required:


  • 12 years' experience in marketing administrative role
  • Experience within a retail business environment
  • Experience within a marketing agency environment

Key Responsibilities:


1. Administration

  • To execute all administration relating to the Marketing process
  • Organise meetings and functions
  • Organise marketing material for meetings
  • Preparation of all PowerPoint presentations
  • Typing documents, dealing with and responding to correspondence, telephonic queries, taking and distributing minutes and filing
  • Managing the administration of the advertising budget which includes capturing invoices on SAP
  • Tracking of competitors within the Commercial SBU, post campaign analysis and reporting
  • Managing timelines and the diaries relating to PR, Financial Services and Cellular critical paths
  • Documenting and collating information for new processes and scheduling training on new processes and RMS system

2. Other initiatives and coordination

  • Manage and execute all cellular new store openings
  • Commercial portfolio: attribute card briefs and sharing with stores
  • Connect Store refresh projects and seasonal creative update projects
  • Manage and assist with tactical campaigns within the Commercial portfolio
