Our client is seeking a Leasing Director to join their team, based in East London OR Johannesburg.

Successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Leasing team. This includes the Internal Brokerage team, External Brokers, various tender factory teams, and lease administration.

Minimum Requirements:-

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leasing role
• Strong understanding of lease contracts
• Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations
• Demonstrating strong leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Duties:-

• Conducting market research to understand demand, trends, and potential tenants
• Engaging in lease negotiations with prospective tenants
• Working with potential tenants to complete the leasing process
• Managing lease contracts, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Overseeing improvements or modifications to leased spaces to meet tenant requirements
• Developing effective strategies and supervising the marketing and leasing of properties
• Maintaining relationships with current and potential tenants, built environment professionals, project managers, and the business community
• Monitoring tenant payments and following up any overdue payments
