I am very interested in the above-mentioned vacancy and therefore I submit detailed Curriculum Vitae for your consideration. 

 

I’ve worked for:  the Department of Sport, Recreation Arts and Culture and currently for the South African Social Security Agency, East London Regional Office.  I have extensive experience in administration from the public sector.  Currently: Assisting in Managing Leases for the region and Ensured availability, monitoring compliance & filing of MOU’s from Districts, Local & Shared offices, for the Paypoints & Counter Services utilized by the Agency. I also do improvements with Vendors where there is a need for alterations in various offices across the province and also do Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical work.

 

Conducting OHS site inspections, Budget Management, Prepare needs assessment office accommodation and recommendations, Liaise with the Districts & Local offices on additional infrastructure and maintenance requirements, Liaise with National Department of Public Works (NDPW) on Capital Works and upgrading of infrastructure, Monitor Contractors doing construction undertaken in the region and compilation of Facilities Performance reports including report on activities including monthly statistics of services required and rendered by Service Providers. 

 

Previously

Do accreditations for the teams going to Provincial Games. Assist Team Managers for National Games. Liaising with relevant Federations. Organising Training for Coaches. Procurement of Sport Equipment and Consumables. Assist in managing Budget. Attending meetings to plan sports projects/Events.

 

Do the procurement of goods and services in the Unit and report any reasons thereof for under / over spending to the Supervisor. I assisted in the development and implementation of the Procurement Plan of the Directorate.  Responsible for the provision of Asset Management support for the Corporate Services Unit which comprises of: Facilities, Transport & Auxiliary unit.  Do briefing sessions with the Service Providers.  Provide efficient document management support also implemented and monitored the filing system for the Unit.
