Your Role at Impact:

The Global Billing Analyst should be able to work with regional managers to ensure that things are

working well and can credibly interface directly with clients and partners in a world class organization in a

very professional way to solve issues and negotiate solutions. The Global Billing Analyst (GBA) is a detail

oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast paced, high responsibility environment.

The GBA is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and compliant invoicing of our global customers.

The role acts as a high level client interface on all billing related issues, and in addition this role

recommends, champions, and document improvements to ensure self-serve and client satisfaction of our

clients. The Global Billing Analyst is familiar with all global billing procedures and can manage daily

financial transactions end-to-end.

The person is able to work independently and accurately, with a high degree of professionalism. The

person has a high standard of professional communication (both written and in person).

This role reports to the Associate Manager, Billing Engine & Contracts Admin, in South Africa


What You'll Do:


Global Billing

  • All Global Advertisers are billed accurately and timeously as per their service level agreements
  • Capturing data accurately and timeously within various internal information systems
  • All credit memos, manual invoicing, accounting adjustments are executed on a timely basis for our global offices
  • All client finance tickets/queries created by business are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Support the Associate Manager, Billing Engine & Contracts Admin, in driving new initiatives in the
  • Billing process that contribute to longterm operational excellence

Financial Reporting

  • Client and company Audit Requests, Monthend and Yearend reporting
  • Act as a knowledge resource for both internal and external stakeholders. Provide finance specific training as needed

Key Outputs

  • Review and manage the processing of global finance tickets and queries out of the Cape Town
  • Daily processing of Billing through the different internal systems and vendor platforms
  • Interact with Operations, Engineering and Customer Support to resolve billing issues and client requests as required
  • Respond to finance related customer requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manually invoice customers as required within the billing system
  • Ensure process documentation is refined and updated regularly aligned with customer contracts
  • Complete monthly reporting as required
  • Assist in the financial setup of Accounts within the Billing Engine system
  • Assist in compiling audits specific to certain customers
  • Training in finance/billing areas of the system for CSM Teams as required continuously

What You Have:


Billing & Collections Team

  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities to completion, on time and within
- budget constraints.

  • International tax knowledge will be advantageous.

Business Acumen

  • Ability to digest and synthesize information from multiple sources and make dispassionate
- assessments of what needs to be done.

  • Work with cross functional operations teams.
