Job Description - Stakeholder Engagement Officer

Area - Sandton

Project Portfolio Management

Build and maintain collaborative and consultative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community groups and associations to promote open communication and facilitate delivery of best practice communication and community engagement and consultation initiatives.

Project and Program Stakeholder Engagement

Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.

Build sound working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, delivery partners and 3rd parties.

Ensure the effective facilitation of all stakeholders' input.

Efficient and effective use of informal and formal communication lines thereby ensuring a participative project delivery culture.

Operational Compliance

Identify shortcomings in compliance processes, systems, and procedures, and develop ad hoc solutions to problems within an assigned unit or discipline.

To identify operational issues that could impede the successful implementation of a project and make recommendations to management to take appropriate corrective action to address these issues.

To implement sufficient governance practices to ensure cross-functional alignment and understanding.

Improvement / Innovation
Implement improvements and provide feedback on them. Use change management systems and protocols to provide routine supportive services.

Proactive analysis of business conducted monthly - considering feedback received, trends analyzed, and action plan put in place to test, improve, innovate systems, processes, and communication.

Find new ways of generating efficiencies and effectiveness across business / department.

EDUCATION

General Education
Grade 12 with Public Relation formal qualification or similar qualification
