Reporting:
Drawing Office Manager.
Remote working:
Occasionally Hybrid.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- Creating 3D parametric models from created skeletons using Autodesk Inventor Software.
- Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing.
_ Duties and Responsibilities of the
Senior Design Draughtsman:
_
- Produce manufacturing drawings.
- Communicate with the Design Engineers.
- Give feedback on drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager.
- Create 3D parametric models using
SKELETON MODELING
- To produce the most accurate, correct and neat drawings.
- Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings.
_Minimum requirements:
_
- Minimum 5 years active working experience as a Senior Design Draughtsman.
- Minimum 5 years active working experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication (workshop experience)
- Diploma in Mechanical Draughting
- Technical competence using the following Autodesk Software:
- Autodesk Inventor
- 3D Skeleton modelling
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Autodesk Vault
- Navis Manager / Freedom
- Revit (will be an added advantage)
- TeamViewer for remote working.
- High attention to detail
- Experience in the Mining Industry will be an added advantage.
