We are recruiting for a Senior SAP HCM/ Payroll Consultant


General Roles and Responsibilities

  • Consolidate business, technical and scope / objectives aspects into a view of the factors that influence a solution.
  • Confirm the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables. Resolve any inconsistencies discovered.
  • Inform the project manager of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
  • Participate in quality reviews to ensure traceability of the designs to the requirements.
  • Participate in the transports of the customization functional designs to the technical designers.
  • Provide functional guidance to the technical designer for the work teams.
  • Unit test the development system configuration.
  • Enter the configuration into the quality assurance client and prepare it for migration and transport to the next environment(s) as defined in the project's system landscape.
  • Participate in additional testing, including integration testing, testing of training material and system stress test.
  • Complete all appropriate documentation required by the programmers, testers, technical consultant, trainers, and project / programme management team that will maintain the system.
  • Ensure that the system's value proposition is delivered.
  • Ensure that the end product fulfils the users and sponsor's expectations.

General Skills Requirements

The functional consultant will be responsible for supporting all Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.

  • Understand and articulate the environment, issues, strategies, pressures, constrains and business objectives that drive the customer's need for the system.
  • Extract and prioritize the "needs and wants" of the customer and translate them into a form that can be used to develop a solution.
  • Knowledge of the product, specifically custom development concepts and functionality
  • Strong functional and business skills.
  • Facilitation experience for conducting training, design and review sessions.
  • Understanding the limitations of the system with respect to security, performance, customization, etc.
  • Knowledge of the functionality provided by the product.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to the product to coordinate and assist with the detailed technical design tasks.
