  • Maintain the supplier database
  • Negotiate supplier prices
  • Goods received processing
  • Shipping and packaging specifications
  • Maintain a database of all products, including technical drawings, patterns, colours, artwork, label designs, swing tag designs, materials and packaging specifications
  • Sourcing of suppliers (local and overseas)
  • Sourcing of products and materials
  • Attending trade shows and / or factories (Optional)
  • Continuous quality inspections as shipments are received
  • Stay in contact with suppliers and freight forwarders with regard to expected shipment dates

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Applicant should have a National Senior Certificate and understand garment technology
  • Post matric qualification will be advantageous
  • MS Word
  • Adobe Illustrator; and
  • Photoshop
  • Sage Evolution working experience advantageous, but not a must.
