Description

Kromco (Pty) Ltd is one of the South Africa's largest fruit packing and marking companies, situated close to Grabouw in the Western Cape.

Applications are invited from individuals interested in undertaking a 2-years development process to become qualified as a technical assistant with specific focus in horticulture pre-harvest.

A career in pre-harvest technical field, but not limited to, is a challenge and dynamic field, particularly in Horticulture where most significant improvements and growth is taking place.

Qualification
National Senior Certificate with at least 50% in Mathematics or Technical Mathematics (NOT Mathematical Literacy) and Life Science and Physical Science

Knowledge and Experience
Proficiency in English and Afrikaans for technical communication, training, and examinations

Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Key Competencies
Eagerness to learn and adapt to self-learning

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Willingness to attend periodic industry courses

Willingness and driven to pass online certification examinations

Willingness to work overtime

Ability to handle pressure

Physically fit and healthy

R15 000,00 - R22 000,00 per month
