Overview

Assistant Store Manager Retail
We are looking for a store assistant for our boutique store in Hazelwood, Pretoria.


Our Client is a small high end brand selling ladies leather handbags and limited clothing items (our space is 50 squares big).

We are looking for a sophisticated young lady who can work 3 x half days during the week (days can vary) and Saturdays and Sundays (9am to 5pm on Saturdays; 9am-2pm on Sundays and 3 days a week of five hours each day of which Thursdays and Fridays are compulsory).

Our salary budget is R R10 000 per month depending on their experience. We would prefer a lady (of any colour) and she has to be fluent in English and Afrikaans.

This role is available immediately.


Objectives of this Role

  • Be an effective assistant store manager and build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Generate creative and actionable business strategies and product development processes to attract new customers, expand store traffic (retail and online) and enhance profitability.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Oversee the weekend operations of the retail store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Monitor stock inventory levels on a weekly basis.
  • Report on buying trends and customer needs.
  • Generate creative design ideas based on current trends and customer feedback.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.
