- Execute meticulous product checks, packing, weighing, dimensioning, and labeling for daily deliveries.
- Ensure all packages meet quality standards, are properly sealed, and appropriately placed in the designated Lodge Cage.
- Strictly adhere to deadlines as per the Warehouse Delivery Schedule.
- Collaborate with Suppliers, Couriers, and Transporters to facilitate efficient deliveries and collections.
- Complete the Daily Delivery Sheet meticulously, following prescribed procedures for goods verification.
- Organize and maintain separation of goods by order/Lodge, ensuring accessibility and orderliness.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies in product quality promptly.
- Operate various equipment, including pallet wrapper, pallet trolley, and dock leveller.
- Adhere rigorously to safety requirements, including working at heights.
- Execute tasks such as paper shredding and plastic recycling.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
- Directly engage with Suppliers or Lodge staff visiting the warehouse with professionalism.
- Demonstrate a polite, patient, and hardworking demeanor.
- Exhibit a can-do attitude and a proactive, quick-response approach with a sense of curiosity.
- Possess detailed and numerate capabilities.
- Comfortably handle receiving deliveries from Suppliers/Couriers.
- Ability to pack and load heavy packages.
- General understanding of packing procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be a South african Citizen
- Must be African
- Must be 27 years old or younger before 01 May 2024
- Must have Matric or a higher qualification
- Must not have been apart of a Y4Y programme previously
