Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written

  • PC literacy, MS Office Excel, Word.
  • Ability to do fault finding and work on your own.
  • Mechanical knowledge.
  • Variable speed drives, maintenance and adjustments
  • Field devices, Profinet networking
  • Electrical drawings.
  • Motor testing.
  • Basic PLC fault finding ability.
  • Knowledge of Electronics, Proficient in soldering
  • Maintenance on Fluid Filling equipment, pumps
  • Cross travel hoists.


  • Lifting equipment

  • Hydraulic scissor lifts.
  • Use of root cause analysis tools, i.e. CCMDs, G8Ds, etc. and implementation of Permanent Corrective Actions.
  • N3 Plus Trade Test Certificate (Electrician/Millwright)
  • 35 years Maintenance/Electrician experience in Automotive industry.
  • Experience with Siemens PLC control circuit wiring.
  • Experience with VFD's and their usage.
  • Fault finding and repair of production equipment in TCF
  • Perform any electrical maintenance and installation on TCF equipment.
  • Quick response to breakdowns.
  • Adhere to safety requirements.
  • Responsible for the equipment start up, wellbeing and uptime.
  • Carry out FPS requirements on shop floor level, housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operated properly and safely.
  • Continuous improvement techniques.
  • G8D completion on breakdown exceeding 10min.
  • CCMD completion for breakdowns
