Overview:


The role of an OOH Capability Lead for Ice Cream is a new one and the vision for this role is to work closely with the local BT, global OOH LT, and HR Business Partners to deliver a Capability Program that delivers accelerated improvement of IC OOH Skills internally and externally (with Concessionnaires).


The program must address the key skill gaps identified as priorities for Ice Cream, and must dovetail with the mandatory CD Learning program being driven via the CDLT.


It will be key for the Capability Lead to be able to link and align with the CD and Ice Cream Global Academy, obtain and share learnings with other CD Capability Managers around the Ice Cream world and deliver with support from the local HR Business Partners.


MAIN JOB PURPOSE:


The Key responsibilities for the OOH Capability Lead are:


Create and deliver a capability plan for the Ice Cream team and Concessionaire reps that will develop Ola into an OOH Execution machine
:


  • Build capability to localise critical OOH transformation initiatives such as Smiles 24/7, Grow 1500, E2E digital ecosystem (Nirvana),
  • Update and relaunch important selling material from the past, including training for reps (e.g.
Operational Booklet, Outlet Prospecting Guide, Visibility Execution Guide)

  • Conduct a skills audit on Rep competence vs Ola sales requirements and build a roadmap to address priority development areas. For example, selling skills, product knowledge, objection handling, Cabinets 10
  • Embed OOH digital tools & capabilities (e.g. LeverEdge full usage, COM, GoldenEye) with Concessionaires and UFS/Smollans
  • Improvement in RTM effectiveness and efficiency
  • Support the Ice Cream Business Team, Concessionnaires, and WL3 business leads (CSP, CBD, CD Finance) to identify and find learning solutions for their teams
  • Manage the logistics, communication and execution of the learning program
  • Link in with HR Business Partners and CDLT to deliver a program that is integrated with the mandatory CD learning program

Manage the annual OOH Capability Budget

  • Plan, track and monitor the budget

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum 5 years sales and/or operational experience managing distributors or RTM
  • A demonstrated ability of raising the bar in execution and people capability
  • A selling mindset
  • Should have demonstrated the capability to build and execute a plan, with multiple stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, ability to lead change management
  • Good understanding of how CD operates across the many different subfunctional areas, as well as within the greater ULSA business and other key functional areas.
  • The ability to work with and influence others particularly when having to work outside the CD function through Finance, Customer Operations, UniOps, Concessionaires and, in some cases, members of the CDLT
  • A passion for all things digital and data.
