Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has just become available in our Ucademy Team for a Group Manager based in Cape Town.
The vision of Ucademy is to be the leading BPO Leadership and Skills Development Academy in South Africa.


We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, results-orientated individual who is deeply passionate about learning - from building job readiness skills in new entrants to the world of work to delivering learnerships and talent development programmes.

Strong facilitation and coaching skills, assessor and/or moderator registration, customer and learner centricity and excellent interpersonal skills are non-negotiable requirements for the position.


The position in a nutshell:
Facilitation of accredited and non-accredited learning programmes across all levels, coaching and supporting learners, conducting assessments and moderation in alignment with the Ucademy QMS and SETA regulations, measuring the impact of learning interventions

Key responsibilities will include:
1.

Facilitation

  • Ensure thorough preparation for all facilitation activities:
  • Facilitate accredited and nonaccredited programmes including completion and remediation of formative assessment activities
  • Coach, guide and support learners including structure and quality of portfolios of evidence
  • Complete accurate and detailed administration including attendance registers, annual training reports, learner feedback forms, facilitator reports2.
Assessment and Moderation

  • Conduct outcomes based assessment in compliance with the QMS and SETA requirements
Evaluate summative assessments using the VACS assessment principles

  • Provide written and/or verbal feedback to the learnersRemediate assessments
  • Conduct moderation of outcomes based assessments in compliance with the QMS and SETA regulations
  • Complete accurate and detailed administration including assessment feedback documents, assessor and moderator reports, portfolio tracking templates, learner results trackers3.
Learning Impact Measurement

Measure the impact of learning interventions:

  • Complete, collect and capture learner feedback forms after facilitation
  • Facilitate completion and capture Voice of the Learner feedback with learners four weeks after training per group respectively
  • Compile and communicate ROI reports.
Compile client reports4. Instructional Design

  • Update existing learning material
  • Quality assure existing content
  • Ensure content is fit for purpose and manageable
  • Contextualise case studies and activities to ensure relevance
  • Ensure the assessment tools are valid and appropriate
Project Management

  • Plan and manage implementation of allocated projects within budget, time and resource parameters
  • Maintain professional communication and relationships with clients, service providers and learners
  • Identify, mitigate and escalate risks
  • Ensure compliance with QMS, SETA regulations and applicable legislative requirements at all times
  • Complete accurate and detailed administration including updated project plans, risk logs
Evaluate formative assessments to determine learner progress and identify gaps during facilitation process

Conduct assessments

Give feedback and remediate assessments

Compile facilitator, assessor and moderator reports

Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions and make recommendations for improvement

Report on insights and value add of learning interventions

Design and develop learning materials and assessment tools aligned to learning outcomes

Quality assure developed learning materials


Qualifications:


  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
- **Relevant NQF 6 Qualification
