Role purpose:

Accountable to own the design, enhance the effectiveness and drive implementation of the Vodacom Demand Management process.
Ensure the necessary capabilities for sustainable Demand Management within Vodacom are defined, implemented and maintained.

Capabilities include, but are not limited to:
A mechanism to facilitate seamless gathering and reporting of demand and delivery capacity data
A demand prioritisation framework
A delivery capacity matching model
A financial model to enable Portfolio Management


Your responsibilities will include:

Drive implementation of
a demand prioritisation framework across all BU roadmaps
a delivery capacity matching model
a financial model to enable Portfolio Management within Centralised Demand
Ensure Vodacom Demand Management models and process is documented and aligned with other company governance forums e.g. CIRB, PIR etc.
Collaboratively consolidate and reporting of company-wide demand and capacity data as well as monitor data integrity for Demand Board discussion at EXCO level
Develop Portfolio reporting to effectively facilitate demand decision making (prioritisation, resource capacity trade-offs, progress, cost, risks/issues etc.)
Prepare and maintain Demand Board pack; facilitate Demand Board with Vodacom SLT

Drive annual Demand-Finance budget planning cycle to enable a view of BU budget allocations - match project roadmaps with finalised budgets to track spend over time.


Technical / professional qualifications:

Relevant 3-year technical degree/diploma is essential
Post graduate qualification (Certified Scale Agile Program Consultant (SPC) or SAF'e Agile, Scrum Master/ Experience of Kanban/ Software Development Lifecycle) is preferred
8 or more years of overall IT experience
Experience working in a SAF'e Program/ Value Stream Layer (or Agile related methodology)
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple Scrum teams
