As a Stock Control and Point of Sale Specialist, you will a play a pivotal role to ensure that all Stock Levels, Stock Related and Point of Sales issues are resolved in a fast and efficient manner and provide feedback to the Assistant Operations Manager on areas in the policies & procedure manual that require updating or implementation to fill any gaps.


WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

  • POS Management: Assist Stores with resolving Point of Sale Related issues speedily & effectively. Maintain selling prices and costingsStock Audits: Conduct Stock audits to ensure that Stock Levels are maintained in the sites as per the point of sale reporting.
  • Stock Control: Implement and maintain par levels in sites according to sales trends and occasion based trends. Ensure that variances in stores are maintained and the support is provided to store relating to instore issues and variance resolutions.
  • Policies & Procedures : Ensure that all policies and procedures relating to Stock Control and Management are maintained and followed by all Stores.
  • Analysing & Reporting: Analyze stock on a ongoing basis and report back to the Area Management Team and Assistant Operations Manager on areas that require rectification. Reporting from time to time on stock on hand as well as future views.
  • Supplier Relationship: Maintain a good supplier relationship with the Point of Sale supplier to have issues resolved timeously.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality
  • FMCG, Sales or food industry experience
  • Retail Sales
  • Inventory Management
  • MS Office
  • MS Excel
