**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- **The Group Payroll Manager will process payrolls for multiple properties within the Group that has a staff compliment of 600+ employees.

  • Manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with statutory & industry regulations
  • Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations and implement new procedures accordingly
  • Review and improve current payroll policies and procedures
  • Manage and set up payroll systems for new companies & properties, including international
  • On time submission of thirdparty payroll payments to ensure adherence to deadlines
  • Reconcile and load payments to benefit funds such as UIF, COID, Medical aid, Retirement Funds
  • SARS submissions
  • Compile monthly salary journal and ensure that journal totals balance to payroll control totals and process
  • Manage payroll administrator to ensure accurate and timeous:
  • Maintenance of employee databases from payroll sources
  • Processing of staff appointments, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc
  • Preparation of payroll reports
  • Customer support query handling
  • Issuing of UI19 and salary schedules to team members where relevant
  • Distribution of IRP'5 and IT3 (a) certificates to employees

  • Hospitality payroll experience, nonnegotiable
  • Proficiency in PaySpace payroll software
  • Detailed knowledge of PAYE and regulations
  • 5 years' payroll experience
  • Detailorientated and meticulous

Experience:


  • PaySpace payroll: 3 years (preferred)
  • Hospilality: 5 years (preferred)
