Description
Warehousing Storeman are required to store products and goods, for further distribution.

The Warehousing Storeman is responsible for ensuring that goods received into or sent from the Company are in good condition and correspond with the correct paperwork to ensure accurate stocks/records are held and the customer deliveries are despatched on a right first-time basis.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Receive goods into the Company.
  • Ensure Paperwork is correct and that the goods received are in good condition.
  • Ensure that customer orders are dispatched accurately.
  • Assist Admin Staff to ensure that accurate stocks are held on site.
  • Carry out physical stock checks when necessary.
  • Operate Forklift trucks for loading and unloading of goods.
  • Undertake any training related to driving Forklifts.
  • To be responsible on a shiftbyshift basis for storage/movement quality standards.
  • Ensure all end products are labelled and dated correctly.
  • Ensure all end products are in prominent condition before dispatch.
  • Ensure that all products going out have tracking codes.

Requirements, skills, and traits:


  • Matric/Grade 12 or any other relevant qualification
  • 1 year warehouse experience
  • Must be able to speak English professionally.
  • Must reside in or near Blackheath and have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skill

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Blackheath,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)


Education:


  • High School (matric) (preferred)

Experience:


  • Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English & Afrikaans (preferred)
