Purpose of the role:

We're looking for a Construction Project Manager, to service our client in the development finance space. The position will be site-based at our client office in Midrand and site office in Limpopo.


The responsibilities will cover all areas of project management including planning, cost and time management, quality management, contract administration and safety management.

The focus of the role will be:

Project management

  • Oversight on Client project plans and project risk management.

Planning and Organizing

  • To help others plan and organise their workload
  • Organises, prioritises, and schedules tasks so they can be performed within budget and with the efficient use of time and resources
  • Achieves goals in a timely manner, despite obstacles encountered, by oragnising, reprioritising and replanning.

Negotiation skills

  • Is able to develop mutually beneficial solutions.

Written communication

  • Understands that different writing styles are required for different documents or audiences
  • Reviews other's documents for clarity and impact
  • Has a solid mastery of writing principles such as grammar, sentence construction, etc.

  • Project and contractual management knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of the JBCC, NEC, GCC and other relevant building contracts
  • Indepth understanding of the PMBOK knowledge areas
  • Knowledge of relevant Acts regarding infrastructure development
  • Understanding of infrastructure markets
  • Understanding of government priorities, systems, and processes at national and provincial level
