Role Description:


  • Taking ownership of project workstreams allocated and delivering under the supervision of senior team members;
  • Supporting project managers and being responsible for managing project elements or tasks;
  • Taking own initiatives or contributing in wider team initiatives to improve products and services;
  • Ensuring at task level that business management systems and procedures are adhered to;
  • Following up leads, identifying business opportunities, administering and contributing towards the preparation of proposals for winning new work.

Infrastructure finance specific attributes:


  • 2 years' infrastructure finance technical advisor experience in Africa across one or more sectors would be considered advantageous.
  • Familiarity with one or more of MPAMOT's core infrastructure areas (Energy, Water, Transport, Built Environment);
  • Basic understanding of at least two of the following:
  • Facilities management;
  • Lifecycle management and lifecycle costing;
  • Construction supervision;
  • Construction contracts;
  • Service contracts / Service level agreements;
  • Payment mechanisms;
  • Project finance construction and operations securitization.
  • Basic understanding of risk and risk management principles.

General attributes:


  • Master's Degree from a technical engineering and/or financial background;
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Strong analytical agility and problemsolving skills;
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines;
  • Selfmotivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment;
  • Past experience in project management of advisory commissions;
  • Fluency in English.
