    Description

    Responsibilities:


    • Planning, conceptual design, detail design, specifications, procurement process, administration, contract administration and project management of civil engineering projects.
    • Carrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities and valuations at all stages of a project.
    • Providing project information and assistance to Project Leaders to enable effective project management.
    • Construction contract documentation compilation (GCC and FIDIC) and procurement processes.
    • Report compilation, for civil projects.
    • Assistance with technical advancement by pursuing technical excellence and maintaining quality assurance on projects.
    • Ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.
    • Excellent technical writing skills, with good communication and time management skills.
    • Maintaining uptodate knowledge of statutory procedures and technical standards.
    • Ability to work independently, but also to function well in a team environment.
    • Selfmotivation.
    • Soft skills required to maintain client relations.

    Qualifications And Experience:


    • B Eng/BSc/B Tech Eng in Civil Engineering
    • Minimum 36 years postgraduation experience
    • Experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantage.
    • Experience in designing municipal services (water & sanitation, roads and stormwater, internal, link and bulk)

    Requirements:
