Directs the activities of an HRIS Data team responsible for the design, development, programming methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyse structured and unstructured data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for HR users across the company.

Oversees the development of software programs, algorithms and automated processes that cleanse, integrate and evaluate data sets from multiple disparate sources.

Identifies and communicates to stakeholders, meaningful, actionable insights from data and metadata sources. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring the efficient operation of the function.


Working at NTT
HRIS Data Product Owner is a people management role responsible for operationally managing Data Modelling and Analysis for HRIS.

In addition to managing a team, this role will drive the adoption of HR Data Modelling and analytics within NTT Ltd.


The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure data-driven solutions that add HR business value using statistical models, machine learning algorithms, data mining, and visualization techniques are created and delivered.


Key roles and responsibilities:


  • Operationally manage a team of HR Data Analysts to ensure achievement of team objectives/KPIs
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive HR business solutions
  • Research, design, implement and deploy scalable HR data analytics vision and machine learning solutions to challenge complex business issues
  • Extends company's data with third party sources of information when needed
  • Enhances data collection procedures to include HR information that is relevant for building analytic systems
  • Processes, cleanses, and verifies the integrity of data used for analysis, and building algorithms necessary to find meaningful answers
  • Performs analysis using programming languages or statistical packages such as Python and R etc.
  • Mines and analyzes data to drive optimization and improvement of HR business strategy
  • Creatively visualizes and effectively communicates results of data analysis, insights, and ideas in a variety of formats to key decisionmakers within the business
  • Takes ideas to successful launch by leading and mentoring diverse, geodistributed teams through innovation, bootstrapping, pilot, production, scaling, and maintenance phases with multiple stakeholders to the highest levels of quality and performance
  • Develops SQL Queries for reports and dashboards
  • Analyzes relational and transactional databases to provide data analysis, and present results in a clear manner
  • Creates documentation around processes and procedures and manage code reviews
  • Applies industry standards best practices to development activities
  • Works on data set to ensure solutions are successfully executed, within agreed upon time frames
  • Continuously ensure team remains abreast of latest technology and tools in the area of data science
