This position is responsible for identifying, driving and securing new business for Merchants Academy


Working at NTT
Sales

  • Identifies and drives sourcing and consulting opportunities through external channels against a defined sales target
  • Defines and develops proposals through the appropriate engagement model
  • Identifies the appropriate decisionmaking forum to facilitate effective and efficient decisionmaking
  • Presents sales proposal to the prospective client's appropriate level of management in order to secure the account
  • Identifies delivery risk and ensures mitigation through the defined Merchants governance processes and protocols.
  • Leads negotiations in respect of all commercial propositions in order to secure a favourable conclusion for Merchants Academy
  • Drives sales process to contract finalisation
  • Reports on progress towards achieving revenue targets and ensures achievement of financial goals
  • Secures appropriate pipeline of opportunities and leads the development of the channel for future potential relationships
Research and Analysis

  • Develops and refines engagement models and solutions matched to market needs
  • Develops an understanding of the Merchants Academy market and it's dynamics in order to leverage knowledge to secure sales
  • Researches and analyses competitors' methodologies, costings and service delivery in order to identify, develop and leverage differentiation
  • Researches and gathers data on prospective client business, including decisionmaking processes, and internal and external organisational influences
  • Attain and maintain expert knowledge of the Merchants Academy solution set.
Client Relationships

  • Grow market share
  • Maintains and updates CRM database
  • Creates and adheres to sales processes and procedures, designed to increase conversion rates and student registration experience
  • Demonstrates advanced product knowledge
  • Meets with clients, both in and out of the office
  • Works towards KPI's and achieving targets
  • Identifies opportunities for new business within the market
  • Pays attention to competitors and their activities within the industry
  • Builds longterm relationships with new and existing customers
  • Ensures that all administration is up to date and is in line with compliance
  • Brand Ambassador for the Merchants Academy grow brand awareness and build relationships
Knowledge

  • Matric and relevant qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in training and development contact centre solutions or tertiary training with a proven track record in consistently achieving/exceeding targets
  • 35 years sales experience
  • 3 years customer service experience
  • Driver's license and own reliable transport, must be willing to travel
  • Ability to network, build relationships within the corporate and education sectors
  • Maintain relationships with current clients
