We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site HR Officer to join our team.
The Site HR Officer will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions on-site, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection
- Source operational resources, including local labour and skills, in accordance with project needs and regulations.
- Collaborate with local authorities and community liaison officers to ensure compliance with client and community requirements.
- Facilitate interviews, assessments, and medicals for potential hires, ensuring adherence to labour legislation and company procedures.
Wage Administration
- Evaluate and submit timesheets accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with project schedules.
- Verify payment reports received from the wage bureau and submit invoice breakdowns to the finance department.
Disciplinary Procedures
- Investigate allegations thoroughly and fairly, following company policies and procedures.
- Prepare disciplinary warnings promptly and provide IR advice to management as needed.
General Administration
- Prepare and submit HR statistics and job creation data to relevant departments monthly.
- Chair periodic meetings with workforce representatives and engage with local communities to address concerns and maintain positive relations.
Quality Standards
- Maintain workplace efficiency by ensuring a tidy workspace, uptodate filing, and adherence to company systems and standards.
- Always demonstrate professional conduct, promoting the company's image and adhering to ethical guidelines.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in construction or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project demands.
Pay:
R15 000,00 per month
