Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on brush cutters machinery, and vehicles.
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
- Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
- Perform vehicle assessments and alert fleet manager on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.
Mechanic Requirements:
- Proven experience as Mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of machinery, electrical and other systems and their components
- Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills
- Problemsolving ability
- Very good physical strength and stamina
Job Types:
