- Coordinate and direct the execution plans, operational planning and execution activities to ensure world class collaborative planning and control of supply and demand and optimisation in the network ensuring smooth product delivery to the customers

What you've done before:
NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Operations/ Logistics/ Purchasing)
3 years' experience in Raw Materials Planning & Analyses within the Manufacturing/ Production environment
Exposure and understanding of Operations/ Production within the field.
SAP experience (Inventory/Stock Control/Purchasing)
ADVANTAGEOUS
Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Operations/ Logistics/ Purchasing
Experience in Petrochemicals or FMCG
Core knowledge - material planning best practices & Inventory management(Raw material)
What you'll be doing:
- Generate Additive and Base oil Forecast weekly by material/plant combination and check for changes in net requirements daily.
- Create a monthly Base Oil Movements plan that caters to internal tank movements, plant to plant movements and ship discharges.
- Generate additive and base oil tank maintenance plan.
- Support Production Schedule with arranging haulers and ensure adequate raw material (baseoil & additives) to satisfy plan timeously.
- Plan bulk transport for base oil and additives.
- Prepare additive consumption report for consignment additives monthly for procurement approval.
- Manage imported additives monthly wrt stock on land, water and on order versus inventory and consumption.
- Monitor material off take and develop concerns with Master Planner/Planning Manager with increase/decrease in consumption
- Generate annual tankage plan for maintenance.
