2 to 5 years Events Coordination & Planning Desired Qualification Level - DiplomaHotel Management / Events Management Qualification (advantageous) - At least 2 years experience in the same or similar position - Proven experience in event planning / co-ordination in a corporate environment Skills - Planning and organising - Decision-making skills - Creative and Critical thinking - Public Speaking - Leadership skills - Time Management - Networking Skills - Good communication skills


Main requirements of the position:

  • Superior knowledge of all operations assets, venues, properties and details to ensure thorough sales and planning of events
  • Customer and personal service knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Communications and Media
  • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral and social media
  • Transportation
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea or road, including the relative costs and benefits
  • Policies and procedures
  • Event and group contracts
  • Booking terms and conditions
