A 5 Star award winning hotel is looking for an experienced Assistant Banqueting ManagerJob Summary:
To assist the Banqueting Manager to lead and organize the Banqueting Service Team, to set and maintain standards and to strive to always keep improving standards whilst maintaining budget and gross profit.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Banqueting department at a supervisory or junior management level
Ability to effectively listen and verbally communicate in English with all levels of staff and management
Proficiency in computer software programs such as Excel and Word preferred.
Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management would be an advantage
Experience within a 4 or 5 star property in the Banqueting department
Ability to make decisions and work independently.
Establish and maintain happy, healthy and stable working relations with all staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Make regular visits to all Banqueting functions and ensure you lead from the front to evaluate quality of product and be regular contact with guests, check customer's satisfaction, communicating relevant points to HODs
To ensure that daily operational setups, procedure and standards are met as per the daily banqueting checklist
To plan in advance that all banqueting wedding functions are prepared for and that all the information regarding function sheets are correct
